Game “Dog Treasure Hunt”
Objective: Develop your dog's sense of smell and intelligence while having fun.
What You Need:
- Treats or your dog's favorite toy
- Several boxes, containers, or paper cups
- Time and a good mood
How to Play:
- Show the treat to your dog and let them sniff it.
- Place the treat under one of the boxes while the dog watches.
- Shuffle the boxes, then let the dog find the hidden "treasure."
- If the dog correctly identifies the box (by barking, pawing, or nudging with their nose), open it and reward them.
- Repeat the game, making it more challenging by adding more boxes or hiding the treat without showing it first.
Additional Variations:
- Use different surfaces (carpet, grass, tile) to change the searching conditions.
- Add obstacles (e.g., hide the treat under a soft cloth).
- Play against the clock to improve your dog's reaction time and speed.
